There are 7 panels.
PANEL 1: Alan places another stake on the other end of the tarp. He pounds on the head of the stake with his fist.
PANELS 2 TO 4: Alan tries with all his might to nail the stake into the ground, making his hands into two compact fists, one above the other, hammering down the head of the stake. He is having a hard time achieving his goal.
PANEL 5: The guide stands near Alan, giving him a serious look, and scolds him: “These won’t hold. Bury them deeper! Notice how…”.
PANEL 6: He doesn’t get to finish the sentence as Alan turns his face to look at him: he is very frustrated and practically on the verge of crying.
PANEL 7: The guide rubs his temple with his fingers, looking down, perhaps a little sorry for his tone. More serene, he proposes: “Leave it to me. Sit somewhere over there and stay put in the meantime”.
