There are 4 panels.
PANEL 1: Fran stands at the entrance to the room the blacksmith has just entered: the kitchen-dining room. The walls are the same as the others in the house; gray stone in the lower half and wood in the upper half. On the wall, near the door, there are two shelves with glass jars containing different preserved foods such as pickles and spices, and there is also a small sack of flour. As the blacksmith moves around the room, Fran asks, cheerless: “And on top of that, so is his son…?”.
PANEL 2: The blacksmith stands with the bottle of milk in his hand and looks at Fran, who, already standing inside the dining room, alleges: “Don't you think I’ll stay and become a blacksmith…”.
PANEL 3: The blacksmith stares at her with his mouth barely open and wanting to answer something, but remains silent.
PANEL 4: He turns around and, with a half smile, asks curiously: “So tell me, what do you wanna be?”. Fran continues standing, with her arms and legs slightly spread, adopting an assertive stance. Behind her a shelf filled with books and other objects, and at her side a futon with fluffy rectangular pillows.
