There are 6 panels.
PANEL 1: The guide and Alan go back and forth, each in opposite directions, from other nearby parts of the forest to the trail and vice versa. Alan approaches the trail diligently carrying a bundle of long, thin branches on his shoulder. His hands are now gloved. The forest floor is somewhere between snowy and muddy, depending on the area. The guide leaves footprints as he walks away.
PANEL 2: Alan's gloved hands stick another branch into the trail.
PANEL 3: The guide crafts a small, circular structure out of wire, the size of his hand. He examines his work carefully, closing one eye to get a better look at it.
PANEL 4: Alan is lying on his belly on the grass, carefully sticking more branches into the ground. He works in close coordination with the guide to set up the trap.
PANEL 5: The guide hangs the small circle of wire so that it hangs from one of the branches, which is held horizontally a few centimeters off the ground by the ones that were stuck vertically.
PANEL 6: The trees in the forest begin to take on a warmer, darker tone, with slight violet tints. Parts of the sky, completely orange from the sunset, filter through the leafy tops.
